Коровино — село в Бугурусланском районе Оренбургской области, административный центр Коровинского сельсовета.

География

Находится на берегах реки Малый Мочегай на расстоянии примерно 43 километра по прямой на северо-восток от центра города Бугуруслан.

История

Упоминается с 1740 года, первоначальное название Ново-Афонькино[1].Основано мордвой.[2]

Население

Население составляло 700 человек в 2002 году (мордва 72%)[3], 596 по переписи 2010 года[4].
