Аффина́ж (фр. affinage, от affiner — «очищать») — металлургический процесс очистки некоторых тяжёлых металлов от примесей.

Описание

Один из видов рафинирования металлов в промышленных условиях, но некоторые способы доступны и в домашних.

Золото очищают «сухим» методом — насыщением расплава хлором (хлориды неблагородных металлов становятся летучими, а хлориды благородных металлов всплывают на поверхность) или серой, электролизом (чистый металл осаждается на катоде) и химически.

Серебро очищают купелированием, электролитически и химически.

Платина и металлы платиновой группы (рутений, палладий, иридий, родий) очищаются «влажным» методом — растворением в минеральных кислотах и выделением из раствора специальными реагентами.

Процесс очистки плутония от химических примесей также называется аффинажем плутония.

Проба полученного в результате аффинажа золота достигает 99,65 %, серебра — 99,90 %[1].

Аффинаж производится на специализированных предприятиях, обладающих необходимым оборудованием и технологиями.

К примеру, драгоценные металлы в России аффинируются на Красноярском заводе цветных металлов имени Гулидова, Новосибирском аффинажном заводе, Екатеринбургском заводе по обработке цветных металлов, Приокском заводе цветных металлов, Щёлковском заводе вторичных драгоценных металлов, Колымском аффинажном заводе (в 2017 году проводится процедура банкротства в связи с недостачей 2 тонн золота и 16 тонн серебра)[2], Московском заводе специальных сплавов.

Порядок и правила аффинажа драгоценных металлов в России определяется Федеральным законом от 26.03.1998 № 41-ФЗ «О драгоценных металлах и драгоценных камнях» и постановлением Правительства России от 17.08.1998 № 972 «Об утверждении Порядка работы организаций, осуществляющих аффинаж драгоценных металлов, и перечня организаций, имеющих право осуществлять аффинаж драгоценных металлов».

В Казахстане процесс аффинажа применяют на металлургических предприятиях в городах Усть-Каменогорск и Балхаш[1].

В Киргизии процесс аффинажа применяют на металлургических предприятиях в городе Кара-Балта.
