Vallées des Beunes este o arie protejată (sit de importanță comunitară — SCI) din Franța întinsă pe o suprafață de 5.510 ha, integral pe uscat.

Localizare

Centrul sitului Vallées des Beunes este situat la coordonatele 44°55′08″N 1°06′43″E / 44.91889°N 1.11194°E ({{PAGENAME}}).

Înființare

Situl Vallées des Beunes a fost declarat arie specială de conservare în baza directivei 92/43 din 1992 referitoare la conservarea habitatelor naturale și a faunei și florei sălbatice[1] pentru a proteja 7 specii de animale.[2][3]

Biodiversitate

Situată în ecoregiunea atlantică, aria protejată conține 7 habitate naturale: Formațiuni de Juniperus communis pe lande sau pajiști calcaroase, Pajiști uscate seminaturale și facies de acoperire cu tufișuri pe substraturi calcaroase (Festuco-Brometalia) (* situri importante pentru orhidee), Mlaștini alcaline, Pante stâncoase calcaroase cu vegetație casmofită, Păduri de Quercus ilex și Quercus rotundifolia, Liziere de ierburi înalte hidrofile de câmpie și de nivel montan până la alpin, Păduri aluvionare cu Alnus glutinosa și Fraxinus excelsior (Alno-Padion, Alnion incanae, Salicion albae).[3]

La baza desemnării sitului se află mai multe specii protejate:[2]

  • mamifere (4): liliac comun (Myotis myotis), liliacul mediteranean cu potcoavă (Rhinolophus euryale), liliacul mare cu potcoavă (Rhinolophus ferrumequinum), liliacul mic cu potcoavă (Rhinolophus hipposideros)
  • nevertebrate (3): Coenagrion mercuriale, fluturele auriu (Euphydryas aurinia), Oxygastra curtisii

Pe lângă speciile protejate, pe teritoriul sitului au mai fost identificate 1 specie de păsări.[2]
