Samsun ou Samessum[4] é uma província (em turco: iller) do norte da Turquia, situada na região (bölge) do Mar Negro (Karadeniz Bölgesi) com 9 579 km² de superfície e 1 250 076 habitantes (2009).[3] Sua capital é a cidade de Samsun.
