Rozana Barroso (Campos dos Goytacazes, 22 de março de 1999) é uma estudante e ativista brasileira, filiada ao Partido Comunista do Brasil (PCdoB), militante da União da Juventude Socialista e ex-presidente da União Brasileira dos Estudantes Secundaristas (UBES) no período de 2020-2022[1], quando a entidade alcançou a conquista histórica da aprovação do Novo e Permanente Fundeb.[2]

Rozana é formada pela FAETEC e estudante de cursinho popular na Zona Sul de São Paulo. No movimento secundarista, é militante da União da Juventude Socialista (UJS). Foi diretora de escolas de técnicas da UBES no período entre 2017-2020, em seguida, foi eleita à presidência provisória da UBES, até a realização do 43º Congresso, que foi postergado por conta da pandemia da Covid-19.

Atuação como presidente da UBES

Desde 15 de maio de 2020, quando foi empossada presidente da UBES, em meio à pandemia da Covid-19 no Brasil, Rozana esteve à frente da entidade no período que compreendeu conquistas importantes para o movimento estudantil. Entre elas, estão o adiamento do ENEM[3] , a saída do então ministro da Educação, Abraham Weintraub[4] , e a aprovação do novo e permanente Fundeb, na Câmara dos Deputados[5] e no Senado Federal[6].
