A Paróquia de Nossa Senhora da Glória é uma paróquia na cidade de Juiz de Fora inaugurada em 24 de agosto de 1924.[1]

Cemitério de Nossa Senhora da Glória

Devido às constantes reclamações dos moradores da colônia alemã por um terreno para a construção de um cemitério, a Companhia União e Indústria cedeu uma área para a instalação de um cemitério.[2] Este foi consagrado em 1860 com o nome de Cemitério de Nossa Senhora da Glória, e doado aos cultos católicos e evangélicos em 1878.[2]

Colônia D. Pedro II: No domingo próximo terão lugar a benção e cerimônias para assentamento da pedra angular da igreja desta colônia no Morro da Gratidão.

Os moradores da colônia alemã constantemente reclamavam um terreno para a construção de um cemitério, uma vez que os colonos estavam sendo sepultados em locais não considerados "sagrados", como em terrenos próximos à hospedaria, por exemplo. Assim, a Companhia União e Indústria cedeu uma uma área para a instalação de um cemitério, consagrado no ano de 1860, sob o nome de Cemitério Nossa Senhora da Glória. Em maio de 1878, a Companhia União e Indústria doou aos cultos católicos e evangélicos o cemitério da Glória. O jornal O Pharol possui, na proximidade da data acima referida, anúncios convocando a população para o assentamento da pedra angular da Igreja da Glória, como este, por exemplo: Colônia D. Pedro II: No domingo próximo terão lugar a benção e cerimônias para assentamento da pedra angular da igreja desta colônia no Morro da Gratidão.
