Bothrocophias é um gênero de serpentes da família Viperidae distribuído no norte da América do Sul. As espécies deste gênero eram incluídas no Bothrops, mas estudos moleculares demonstraram que elas representavam um gênero distinto.^[1]^[2]^[3]
