Afonsim é uma povoação portuguesa do Município de Vila Pouca de Aguiar que foi sede da extinta Freguesia de Afonsim, freguesia que tinha 11,07 km² de área^[1] e 183 habitantes (2011^[2]) e, por isso, uma densidade populacional de 16,5 hab/km².

A Freguesia de Afonsim foi extinta (agregada) pela reorganização administrativa de 2012/2013,^[3] tendo o seu território sido integrado na então criada Freguesia do Alvão.

A Freguesia de Afonsim incluía no seu território os seguintes lugares: Afonsim, Reguengo e Trandeiras.

Afonsim situa-se no planalto da Serra do Alvão, 5 km a noroeste da sede do município.
