Wedding, Berlin-Wedding – dzielnica (Ortsteil) w środkowo-zachodniej części Berlina w okręgu administracyjnym Mitte. Od 1 stycznia 1861 w granicach miasta.

Historia

W czasie podziału Berlina na sektory po II wojnie światowej Wedding należał do sektora francuskiego. Obecnie, po reformie administracyjnej z dnia 1 stycznia 2001 r., stracił on status samodzielnego okręgu administracyjnego i stał się częścią okręgu administracyjnego Mitte. Ponieważ koszty najmu lokali w Weddingu są niższe niż w większości innych dzielnic, mieszka tu wielu ludzi o niskich dochodach, imigrantów, studentów, a także młodych artystów. Według szacunków odsetek cudzoziemców w Weddingu wynosił w 2011 r. ok. 30%.
