Płyta jest ścieżką dźwiękową do filmu The Last Waltz w reżyserii Martina Scorsese, dokumentującego pożegnalny koncert kanadyjskiej rockowej grupy The Band, który odbył się w San Francisco w Dniu Dziękczynienia w 1976 roku.
