Dom Zemełki – zabytkowa kamienica w Koninie.

Historia

Najstarsza murowana kamienica w Koninie, położona przy placu Wolności. Wzniesiona w drugiej połowie XVI wieku[1] przez Jana Zemełkę. Obecny wygląd zawdzięcza przebudowie na przełomie XIX i XX wieku[2]. W 1974 wpisana do rejestru zabytków[3]. Od 1866 do 1938 roku budynek pełnił funkcje szkolne, początkowo mieściło się w nim progimnazjum, a następnie szkoła handlowa (1907-1919), i w końcu gimnazjum humanistyczne[1]. Od 2014 jest własnością miasta. Planuje się dobudowanie nowego skrzydła (pawilonu), w którym miejsce znajdzie Inkubator Aktywności Kulturalnej (2021)[4].
