W 2009 w chińskim Xining na mistrzostwach świata wywalczył brązowy medal we wspinaczce sportowej w konkurencji boulderingu, w finale przegrał z Rosjaninami Aleksiejem Rubcowem oraz Rustamem Gelmanowem[1].
