Oiran

Oiran (花魁) adalah wanita yang bertugas untuk menghibur pada Zaman Edo. Pada masa sekarang, Oiran sendiri telah menjadi budaya yang dilestarikan. Untuk menjadi seorang Oiran, seorang wanita harus melalui pendidikan keterampilan seperti merangkai bunga, upacara minum teh dan kaligrafi. Seorang Oiran juga harus terampil dalam memainkan alat musik tradisional.
