Wulfoald (død 680) var rikshovmester av Austrasia fra 656 eller 661[2] til han døde og rikshovmester av Neustria og Burgund fra 673 til 675.

Han var regent av Austrasia mens Childerik II var mindreårig, frem til 670. Selv etter at Childerik ble myndig, beholdt Wulfoald den reelle makten. I 673 ble han rikshovmester i Neustria siden Childerik hadde overtatt dets trone. Men da Childerik døde, måtte Wulfoald flykte til Austrasia. Wulfoald og adelsmennene utropte Dagobert II til konge, men Ebroin, den rivaliserende rikshovmesteren i Nesutria, forsøkte å plassere Klodvig III på den austrasiske tronen for å utvide sin innflytelse.

Det var først i 676 at Wulfoald lyktes i å plassere Dagobert på tronen med full autoritet. Krig fortsatte på grensen til 677 da Neustria anerkjente austrasisk uavhengighet. Dagobert ble myrdet 23. desember 679. Wulfoald levde bare en kort stund lenger enn sin konge.
