Wendy Schaal (født 2. juli 1954) er en amerikansk skuespillerinne som er best kjent som stemmen til Francine Smith i animasjonserien American Dad!

Tidlig liv

Schaal ble født i Chicago i Illinois som datter av Lois (født Treacy) og avdøde skuespiller Richard Schaal.[2] Hun er stedatter av skuespillerinnen Valerie Harper.[2]

Karriere

Den 30. mars 2012 sluttet Screen Actors Guild (SAG) og American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) seg sammen og dannet en ny union SAG-AFTRA. Som et resultat av denne sammenslåing anla en gruppe på om lag 70 skuespillere, inkludert Schaal, rettssak mot SAGs president Ken Howard og flere visepresidenter. De krevde sammenslåingen ugyldig og de to foreninger adskilt, fordi valg holdt både i SAG og AFTRA var uriktige.[2] Forlik ble inngått 17. mai 2012.[2]

Privatliv

Schaal var gift med Stephen M. Schwartz fra 1977 til 1987. Hun har to sønner, Adam og Victor.[2]
