Volzjskij (russisk: Во́лжский) er en by i Volgograd oblast i Russland. Den ligger på østbredden av elva Volga og dennes forgrening Akhtuba, rundt 20 kilometer nordøst for Volgograd.

Det fantes ingen befolkning på stedet til dagens by før på 1700-tallet. De første nybyggerne var flyktninger som kalte seg bezrodnje (russisk: безродные – «uten slekt»), og landsbyen de dannet fikk navnet Bezrodnoje. I 1720 beordret Peter den store byggingen av en statlig silkefabrikk på stedet, etter at han hadde lagt merke til de rike morbærskogene i området.

Bosetningen Volzjskij ble registrert i 1952, og den hadde da en befolkning på rundt 10 000. I 1954 fikk bosetningen bystatus. Den største økningen i befolkning kom med byggingen av Volga vannkraftverk.

Byen ble bygget av sivile fanger som ble belønnet med hus eller leiligheter ved endt soning. Volzjskij ble planlagt med leilighetsblokker som ble vinklet for å dempe de hete sommervindene fra steppene.

Byens industri består, foruten vannkraftverket Volga GES, av metallindustri og kjemisk industri.
