Trichostola er en slekt av biller som tilhører familiegruppen bladbiller (Chrysomelidae).
Utseende
Nokså små (ca. 2 millimeter), mørke, blanke, fint hårete bladbiller.
Levevis
Både larvene og de voksne (imago) er planteetere.
Utbredelse
Slekten er utbredt i på Maskarenene (Mauritius, Réunion og Rodrigues). Arter fra Afrika som har vært plassert i denne slekten bør trolig plasseres i andre slekter, dette gjelder kanskje også artene fra Madagaskar. Trichostola Weise, 1923 fra Australia er etter alt å dømme en egen slekt, som bør bytte navn, men artene er listet opp i neste avsnitt.
