Severin Brørby på Commons

Severin Petter Brørby (født 19. november 1932 på Hønefoss, død 5. mars 2001 i Jevnaker) var en norsk glasskunstner.[4][5]

Han var utdannet fra SHKS, og var fra 1956 ansatt som designer ved Hadeland Glassverk. Hans første serie, fløtesettet «Anne» kom i produksjon allerede samme år. Hans største suksess var serien «Furu» med boller, tallerkener, fat og lysestaker, som kom i produksjon i 1975. Han sluttet på Hadeland Glassverk i 1984, og drev deretter egen glasshytte, først på Åmot i Modum og fra 1990 på Vik i Hole.

Hans arbeider er innkjøpt av Kunstindustrimuseet i Oslo, Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum, Vestlandske kunstindustrimuseum, Designmuseum Danmark og Corning Museum of Glass, New York. Han fikk Design-prisen av Rådet for Glass, Porselen og Flint for bollesettet «Monte Carlo»; han mottok Merket for god design flere ganger[6]; fikk en tysk pris i 1972 for krystallinserviset «Barbara», og mottok Jacobprisen i 1979.[7]
