Quantico er en by i Prince William County i den amerikanske delstaten Virginia utenfor Washington, DC. Den er helt omgitt av militærforlegningen Marine Corps Base Quantico på tre sider og Potomac-elven på den fjerde. Quantico er beliggende syd for utmunningen av Quantico Creek på Potomac. Ved folketellingen i 2010 hadde Quantico en befolkning på 480.
I militærforlegningen – en av marineinfanteriets største – ligger blant annet DEAs treningssenter, FBI-akademiet og FBI-laboratoriet samt hovedkontoret til NCIS.
Fra 2008 er borgermesteren Iris Tharp.[3] Der er også et byråd.[3]
Geografi
Quantico er på 38°31'19" Nord, 77°17'23" Vest (38.521871, −77.289757)[4]. Ifølge United States Census Bureau, har byen et samlet areal på 0,1 square miles (0,3 km²), hvorav 0,1 square miles (0,3 km²) er jord, og ingen av områdene er dekket av vann.
Klima
Quantico har et fuktig subtropisk klima (Köppens klimaklassifisering Cfa).
