Proborhinus er en artsrik slekt av biller som har larver som eter planterøtter. De hører til underfamilien oldenborrer (Melolonthinae) i den store gruppen skarabider (Scarabaeoidea). Slekten omfatter bare én kjent art som lever i Australia.

Utseende

En liten (4-5 millimeter), ensfarget lyst gulbrun oldenborre. Antennene er åtte-leddete, "snuten" (clypeus) bredt rundet, nærmest halvsirkelformet, med en fremstående "nese" i midten.

Utbredelse

Arten lever i det nordvestlige Australia (delstaten Western Australia).
