Pachysternum er en slekt av biller som hører til familien vannkjær (Hydrophilidae).
Utseende
Små til middelsstore (2,5-6 millimeter), bredt ovale, hvelvede, mørke vannkjær. Oversiden er fint og jevnt punktert og nokså blank.
Levevis
Artene er landlevende og har blitt funnet mellom møkk, blant annet fra elefanter.
Utbredelse
Slekten er utbredt i Afrika og Asia.
