Ottavio Zollio (født 12. oktober 1760 i Montegridolfo i Marche i Kirkestaten, død 2. april 1832 i Rimini i Kirkestaten) var en italiensk katolsk prelat og biskop av Pesaro og så av Rimini.

Liv og virke

Bakgrunn

Han var av en adelig familie med røtter i Bergamo. En rekke av slekten hadde virket i høye kirkelige embeder: Marcantonio Zollio var biskop av Crema fra 1684 til 1702 mens en annen Marco Antonio Zollio var, i likhet med Ottavio, biskop av Rimini, fra 1752 til 1757.

Foreldrene hans var Giovan Battista Zollio og Silvia Gironi, hun fra Riminis adel og bragte med seg et herskapshus med mange kunstverk, blant dem mange av Guercino.[2]

Ottavio fullførte dine studier ved Collegio Nazareno i Roma, og ble kannik ved katedralen i Rimini, og i 1801 generalvikar der.

Etter å ha blitt biskop av Rimini i 1824, etter å ha vært biskop av Pesaro, 10. desember 1830 «gav han til Maria Elisabetta Renzi og hennes fellesskap ordensreglene for Maestre Pie Filippini av Roma, et ordensfellesskap allerede approbert av pave Klemens XI, og navnet «Maestre Pie dell'Addolorata».[2]
