Moto Guzzi er en italiensk produsent av motorsykler som har vært i drift siden 1921. Prototypen til [2]"Normale" fra 1921 hadde en liggende ensylindret motor på 500 ccm. Motor og girkasse var en smørekrets, og det var doble ventiler. dette var enestående på den tiden. Den liggende ensylindra motoren med åpent svinghjul var i produksjon i forskjellige varianter helt fram til 1970-tallet. Fabrikken ligger i den lille byen Mandello del Lario på østsiden av Comosjøen. De har opp gjennom årene hatt et stort spekter av modeller for både sivilt bruk og til bruk i politi og forsvar. Moto Guzzi dukket først opp i Norge på slutten av 1960-tallet. Merket har sin egen merkeklubb, Norsk Moto Guzzi klubb, som ble dannet i 1983.

Sin storhetstid i motorsport hadde de på 1950-tallet. Da produserte Moto Guzzi blant annet en Grand Prix-sykkel som hadde en firetakts V8-motor med slagvolum 500 cm3.

I dag er det tunge motorsykler med tosylindret V-motor på langs i rammen som produseres. Selv om det er et lite merke, har det en trofast tilhengerskare. Det finnes merkeklubber over hele verden, både lokale og nasjonale.
