Megaphloeus er en slekt av maurbiller som stort sett er rovdyr.
Utseende
Små til middelsstore (4-10 millimeter), avlange maurbiller. Fasettøynene er utstående, antennene består av 11 ledd. Slekten ligner Epiphloeus, men kan kjennes på at maksillepalpenes ytre ledd er fingerformet.
Levevis
Både larver og voksne biller er rovdyr, men de voksne kan også finnes på blomster der de spiser pollen. Mange lever av treborende insekter.
Utbredelse
Gruppen er utbredt fra Mexico i nord til Argentina i sør.
