Marianne Terjesen (født 22. april 1953 i Trondheim) er en norsk forfatter, bosatt på Bryne i Rogaland.

Terjesen ble ansatt som journalist i Jærbladet i 1979.[1][2] Derfra gikk hun senere videre til en journaliststilling i Rogalands Avis.[2] Før det arbeidet hun blant annet som informasjonsleder ved Rogaland Teater.[2][3] Hun har arbeidet i NRK Rogaland siden 1993.[2]

Hennes første bok, Reisen til byen som ikke finnes, handler om hennes reise for å forstå mer av sin mors bakgrunn. Moren var født inn i en jødisk familie i datidens Breslau, som den gang var en del av Tyskland, og som i dag heter Wrocław og ligger i Polen. I 1939 flyktet Terjesens mormor fra Tyskland med datteren, og klarte dermed å redde dem begge fra nazistenes jødeforfølgelser.[4]
