MF «Ådan», tidligere MF «Fedjefjord», er en bilferge bygget i 2001 for Bergen-Nordhordland Rutelag. Fergen var per april 2020 eid av Norled[1] og uteleid til Fjord1. MF «Fedjefjord» gikk på strekningen Ferjesambandet Fedje–Sævrøy frem til MF Fedjebjørn tok over i mai 2020.[2]

Historie

Skipet

MF «Fedjefjord» var byggnummer 496 ved det spanske verftet Astilleros Zamaccona i Bilbao. Ved overlevering var tonnasjen 2 332 bruttoregistertonn, 1 088 nettoregistertonn, og lasteevnen var 3 858 dødvekttonn. Hovedmaskinen er to dieselmotor. Oppgitt ytelse er 2 136 kW.

Grunnstøting 2019

I desember 2019 grunnstøtte Fedjefjord kort tid etter avgang fra Sævrøy kai. Det ble meldt om vanninntrenging i forskroget, men det var ikke fare for at fergen skulle gå ned. Det ble heller ikke meldt om personskader.[3] Årsaken til grunnstøtingen var sterk vind.[4]
