Lasconotus er en slekt av mattbiller.
Utseende
Stort sett små (ca. 3 millimeter), avlange og litt flate, brune mattbiller. Antennene er nokså korte, 1o-leddete, med en tre-leddet klubbe. Hodet er avrundet firkantet, fasettøynene middelsstore. Pronotum er rektangulært, gjerne litt lengre enn bredt. Dekkvingene er jevnbrede med tydelige punktrader.
Levevis
Artene lever under barken av tørre trær, gjerne gran, som er angrepet av barkbiller.
Utbredelse
Slekten har en hovedsaklig holarktisk utbredelse, men er funnet her og der på andre kontinenter også.
