Lagochile er en slekt av biller som hører til undergruppen praktskarabider (Rutelinae) i den store familien skarabider (Scarabaeidae).
Utseende
Middelsstore (ca. 20 millimeter), blanke og glatte, mørkfargede skarabider. Kroppsformen er litt bred og avflatet. Pronotum er jevnt rundet tilsmalnet forover, med avrundede bakhjørner, oftest noe innbuktet innenfor disse. Scutellum er trekantet, ofte med lys kant. Dekkvingene mangler punktrader, beina er forholdsvis korte.
Utbredelse
Slekten er utbredt i Mellom- og Sør-Amerika.
