L'Arche
L'Arche (fransk for «Arken») er et prosjekt for sameksistens mellom mennesker med og uten funksjonsnedsettelser.
Prosjektet ble grunnlagt i 1964 av kanadieren Jean Vanier og franskmennene Philippe Seux og Raphaël Simi, to menn med utviklingshemming, i Trosly-Breuil, en landsby 80 kilometer nord for Paris. Dette første L'Arche-fellesskapet ble ledsaget av dominikanerpateren Thomas Philippe. L'Arche er et internasjonalt nettverk av L'Arche-fellesskap.
Det er (2025) mer enn 150 L'Arche-fellesskap i 37 land på alle fem kontinenter.[1]
I L'Arche-fellesskapene bor mennesker med og uten utviklingshemming sammen. L'Arche har sin opprinnelse i katolsk tradisjon. I dag består L'Arche-fellesskapene for det meste av mennesker fra ulike trostradisjoner, filosofier og praksiser. Deres felles spiritualitet former livene til disse samfunnene.
