Kommandørkaptein Klincks vei (Horten)

Kommandørkaptein Klinkcs vei, sett fra Øvre vei.

Kommandørkaptein Klincks vei befinner seg på Karljohansvern i Horten kommune, og er kalt opp etter Christen Frederik Klinck, mannen bak Marinemuseet.[1]

Historie

Veien fikk sitt nåværende navn 7. april 2003.[2]

Lengde og beliggenhet

Veien begynner i krysset ved det gamle Administrasjonsbygget, hvor den møter Nedre vei. Mot øst går veien rundt 70 meter og ender i Øvre vei. Strekningen er ikke åpen for ordinær biltrafikk. Mot vest går veien ned til Indre Havn, hvor det er to veistubber, en til Lokalhistorisk senter og en til Marinemuseet og Preus museum. Totalt er denne veistrekningen på rundt 600 meter.[3] Ved veien er det et par parkeringsplasser, beregnet både til Lokalhistorisk senter og museene, samt besøkende til Karljohansvern.
