Hummus

Hummus dandert og servert med olivenolje, sitronsaft og diverse orientalske krydderblandinger (spisskummen, za'atar og sumak).

Hummus[a] er en matrett (en puré) fra Levanten (Midtøsten)[2] der det populært spises sammen med pitabrød, ofte med garnityr som olivenolje, paprikapulver, bladpersille, eller pinjekjerner.

Hummus er laget av kokte og mosede kikerter blandet med tahini (malte sesamfrø), olivenolje, sitronsaft og hvitløk.
