Diablo II er et hack and slash action-rollespill, som ble utviklet av Blizzard North og utgitt i 2000 av Blizzard Entertainment til både Microsoft Windows og Mac OS. Det er det andre spillet i Diablo-serien, og er en direkte oppfølger til spillet Diablo (1996).

Spillet ble et av de mest populære spillene utgitt i 2000, mye på grunn av videreførelsen av dark fantasy-elementene fra forgjengeren, samt muligheten for online spilling via Blizzards gratis online-tjeneste Battle.net. Utvidelsespakken Lord of Destruction ble utgitt i 2001.

Oppfølgeren Diablo III ble annonsert i 2008 og utgitt i 2012.

Diablo II: Resurrected, en remastret versjon av Diablo II og utvidelsespakken Lord of Destruction, ble utgitt 23. september 2021.[1]

Spilleren må gjennomføre en rekke oppdrag for å komme videre i handlingen, men det finnes også flere valgfrie side-oppdrag. I motsetning til det første Diablo-spillet, hvis nivåene besto av å gå dypere og dypere i fangehull og helvete med gotisk tema, er miljøene i Diablo II mye mer varierte. I normal modus kan spilleren gjenopplive karakteren sin hvis den blir drept, og fortsette å spille. Men i hardcore-modus har karakteren bare ett liv.
