Detroits motormesse, eller North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) er en årlig bilutstilling i Detroit, Michigan ved Cobo Center, vanligvis i januar. Den er blant de største i sitt slag i USA..[1]
I 1899 hjalp William E. Metzger til med å organise Detroit Auto Show som da var det andre av sitt slag.[2] Året etter hjalp han med å organisere et lignende arrangement New York Auto Show i New Yorks Madison Square Garden.
En bilmesse ble arrangert i Detroit i 1907 og siden har det blitt arrangert årlige messer, unntatt 1941–1953. I løpet av de første ti-år ble det bare fokusert på lokale bilprodusenter. I 1957 ble internasjonale bilfabrikker presentert for første gang [3]
I 1989 ble Motormessen omdøpt til North American International Auto Show da de japanske luksusbiler; Lexus og Infiniti ble vist første gang.
