Cryptopeniculus er en slekt av tyvbiller.
Utseende
Små, edderkopplignende, mørkbrunlige tyvbiller. Pronotum er nærmest sirkelrundt sett ovenfra, kledt med lange, pigglignende hår. Dekkvingene er pæreformede, glatte og blanke. Beina er lange, lårene klubbeformede.
Levevis
Disse artene lever gjerne på tørt plantemateriale.
Utbredelse
Slekten er bare kjent fra det sørvestlige Afrika (Sør-Afrika).
