Buk M1

Buk M1 (russisk: Бук М1 ( = bøketre, NATO-kallenavn SA-11 Gadfly) er en sovjetisk mellomdistanse luftvernmissilsystem med rakettmotor og radarstøttet målakvisisjon. Systemet ble konstruert med tanke på bruk mot jagerfly, helikoptre og kryssermissiler. Det ble faset inn fra 1980 i det sovjetiske militære styrker og erstattet rakettsystemet 2K12 Kub. Den moderniserte type Buk-M1 har bedre rekkevidde og elektronikk. Fire mann er nok til å operere systemet.

Etterfølgersystemet heter Buk-M1-2.

Missiler og styring

Hvert missil er 5,55 meter lang, veier 690 kg og bærer en relativt kraftig sprengladning på 70 kg. Det innebærer blant annet at direkte treff på målet ikke er helt påkrevet; detonasjon i nærheten vil også tilføre voldsom skade. Fremdriften skjer ved hjelp av en startmotor med fast brensel. Etter at startmotoren her utbrent blir den tomme hylsen til forbrenningskammer for en ramjet-motor som drives av flytende brensel. Dette gir roboten en god rekkevidde for dens størrelse, og en høy akselerasjonshastighet i innledningsfasen. Farten kommer opp i 3 x lydens hastighet.

Følgende nedskytningssannsynligheter sies å gjelde:

  • 0,6 – 0,9 mot fly
  • 0,3 – 0,7 mot helikoptre
  • 0,4 mot krysserroboter

Batteriet krever fem minutters istandsetningstid før det er klart til å bekjempe mål og er i transportferdig stand igjen etter 5 minutter. Reaksjonstid fra målsporing til robotavfyring er 22 sekunder.
