bcache, en forkortelse for block cache, er et virtuelt hurtigminne i Linux-kjernens blokk-lag, som blir brukt for å aksessere utstyr som fungerer som sekundært minne. Den gjør det mulig for et eller flere lagringsmedia, slik som flashminne-baserte solid-state drives, å fungere som et hurtigminne for tregere lagringsmedia, slik som harddisker. Bcache skaper på dette viset, på samme måte som dm-cache, hybrid volumer i Linux.
Bcache ble en del av Linuxkjernen i versjon 3.10, som ble lansert 30. juni 2013.[1][2]
