Giovanni Battista Viotti (12. mai 1755–3. mars 1824) var ein italiensk fiolinist og komponist. Han var som utøvar kjent for sin virtuositet. Han var òg direktør for franske og italienske operakompani i Paris og London.

Viotti hadde ikkje så mange elevar, men vart likevel ein viktig fiolinist. Han blir rekna som grunnleggjaren av den franske fiolinskulen på 1800-talet. Han underviste Rodolphe Kreutzer, og August Duranowski, som var eit førebilete for Niccolo Paganini. Fiolinen til Viotti vart bygd av Antonio Stradivari i 1709, og har sidan fått namnet «Viotti Stradivarius».

Blant dei mest kjende verka til Viotti finn vi hans 29 fiolinkonsertar, som var ein ein viktig inspirasjon for Ludwig van Beethoven. Viotti har elles komponert songar og sonatar, og kammermusikkverk for mange ulike besetningar, men dei blir lite framført i dag, trass i at dei i hans samtid var særs populære. Éit av særtrekka hans som komponist var at han brukte italienske songar som førebilete for tematikken i sin instrumentale musikk.
