6-hydroksymelatonin

6-hydroksymelatonin (6-OHM) er eit naturleg førekomande endogen og ein aktiv metabolitt i nevrotransmittaren melatonin.[1] Liksom melatonin er han ein full agonist til reseptorane MT1 og MT2.[2][3] Han er også ein antioksidant og eit nevroprotektivt middel, og er på desse områda langt meir potent enn melatonin.[4][5]
