Het Nieuwe Kerkhof is een plein in de stad Groningen. De naam verwijst naar de Nieuwe Kerk die hier in het begin van de zeventiende eeuw werd gebouwd als eerste protestantse kerk in Groningen. De Nieuwe Kerk werd gezien als opvolger van de Sint-Walburgkerk, de naam voor het kerkhof was daarom oorspronkelijk het Nieuwe (Sint) Walburgkerkhof. De Nieuwe Kerk is het centrale punt in de Binnenstad Noord, ook wel Hortusbuurt, en door de gemeente Groningen aangewezen als een Groene Parel, een speciale groenvoorziening in de stad. Het kerkhof ligt duidelijk hoger dan de rest van de omgeving doordat het op een van de noordelijkste 'heuvels' van de Hondsrug gelegen is.

Aan de noordzijde van het plein, op nummer 22, staat het Juffer Tette Alberdagasthuis.
