Ivar Giaever (Norway: Giævercode: no is deprecated , lahir 5 April 1929) merupakan ahli fizik Norway-Amerika yang berkongsi Hadiah Nobel pada tahun 1973 bersama Leo Esaki dan Brian Josephson "untuk penemuan mereka berkaitan fenomena terowongan di padatan".[1][2] Giaever berkongsi hadiah tersebut khusus untuk "penemuan bereksperimen mengenai fenomena terowongan dalam superkonduktor". Giaever ialah seorang profesor emeritus di Institut Politeknik Renssealaer, profesor utama di Universiti Oslo, dan presiden syarikat Applied Biophysics.[3][4][5]
