Ko te taro he tipu huanga hirahira mō ngā tangata Ao-o-Kiwa. Ko te ingoa pūtaiao o tēnei tipu he Colocasia esculenta.[1] He whārahi tona rau (whā), he roa te tātā, he mātotoru me huruhuru te kōpura. I mauria tēnei tipu i te haere e ngā tīpuna Ao-o-Kiwa ā ngā motu o Aotearoa.[2]
