Zizma ir Lielupes labā krasta pirmā pieteka. Upe plūst pa Mežotnes un Codes pagastiem. Upes izteka atrodas apmēram 3 kilometrus uz dienvidiem no Codes Evaņģēliski luteriskās baznīcas un 15 km attālumā no tās ietekas vietas Lielupē.
Zizmas upei ir divas pietekas — Sidrabe un Malva.
Upi šķērso autoceļš A7 (Rīga—Bauska—Lietuvas robeža).
