Statika ir klasiskās mehānikas nozare, kas pēta cietu ķermeņu un to sistēmu līdzvara nosacījumus gadījumos, kad uz šiem tiem darbojas spēks. Statikā apskata ķermeņus miera stāvoklī, uz to esošo spēka momentu summa ir vienāda ar nulli. Statikai pretējā mehānikas nozare ir dinamika.
Statika ir ļoti nozīmīga fizikas nozare inženierijā, arhitektūrā. Statikas likumsakarības izmanto ēku projektēšanā.
