SIOC
SIOC (angļu: Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities — Semantiski savstarpēji saistītas tiešsaistes komūnas) ir semantiskā tīmekļa projekts ar mērķi radīt metodes, kas ļautu savstarpēji sasaistīt dažādas tiešsaistes diskusiju vietnes — forumus, tīmekļa žurnālus, u.c. Tas sastāv no SIOC ontoloģijas, kas ir atvērts standarts, kurš nosaka vienotu veidu, kā mašīnlasāmā formā aprakstīt tiešsaistes diskusiju vietņu radīto informāciju, SIOC metadatu radītājiem, kas pamatā ir dažādas tīmekļa žurnālu platformas un satura vadības sistēmas, kā arī rīkiem, kas apstrādā SIOC metadatus.
SIOC ontoloģija ir balstīta uz RDF un aprakstīta izmantojot RDFS. Kā to paredz RDF standarti, SIOC dokumentus drīkst papildināt arī ar citu RDF ontoloģiju definētajiem metadatu veidiem, piemēram, aprakstot informāciju par autoriem bieži lieto FOAF ontoloģiju, bet aprakstot bagātīgu saturu (piemēram, HTML reprezentāciju) var lietot AtomOWL vai RSS 1.0 Content moduli.
SIOC projektu 2004. gadā aizsāka Uldis Bojārs un Džons Breslins DERI institūtā Īrijā. Šobrīd (2007) tas ir kļuvis par Globālā Tīmekļa konsorcija rekomendāciju.[1]
Eksperimentāls SIOC atbalsts ir iekļauts Blogiem.lv, pieejami arī spraudņi WordPress un citām populārākajām tīmekļa žurnālu platformām.
