rel-nofollow ir elementārs mikroformāts, kas radīts ar mērķi novērst 3. puses satura spamu, piemēram, komentāru spamu.
2005. gada sākumā Google paziņoja, ka hipersaites ar rel="nofollow" atribūtu neietekmēs saites mērķa tīmekļa lappušu reitingu meklēšanas rezultātos. Kopš tā laika šis standarts ir ieviests lielākā daļā tīmekļa žurnālu programmatūras. Arī Vikipēdijas izejošajām saitēm tiek pievienots šis atribūts. To atbalsta arī citi lielākie tīmekļa meklētāji, piemēram, Windows Live Search un Yahoo! Search.
