Olekte ir bijusī Daugavas kreisā krasta sānteka[1] Ķekavas novadā, kas atdalīja Akmeņsalu no krasta. Tagad tā ir upīte, kas sākas kā grāvis ziemeļos no Pļavniekkalna un ietek Daugavā pie Krūmiņsalas. Krasti blīvi apbūvēti: ciemi Katlakalns un Rāmava, kā arī jaunie privātmāju rajoni Mākoņkalns un Rudzāji. Nosaukums cēlies no senā garuma mēra olekts.
