MGMT ir amerikāņu rokgrupa, kas 2002. gadā tika dibināta Midltaunā, Konektikutā. To ar nosaukumu The Management dibināja dziedātāji un multiinstrumentālisti Endrū Vanvingārdens un Bendžamins Goldvasers. 2005. gadā grupa mainīja nosaukumu uz MGMT.

Sākotnēji grupa tika pie līguma ar Cantora Records. Vēlāk 2006. gadā MGMT noslēdza līgumu ar Columbia un RED Ink un nākamajā gadā izdeva savu debijas albumu Oracular Spectacular.[1][2] Grupas otrais albums Congratulations tika izdots 2010. gadā.[3] 2011. gada janvārī grupa sāka darbu pie sava trešā albuma MGMT, kas tika izdots 2013. gada septembrī.[4] Grupas ceturtais studijas albums Little Dark Age tika izdots 2018. gada februārī un iezīmēja līguma noslēgumu ar Columbia. Sākot ar 2019. gadu, duets pirmo reizi kopš 2006. gada sāka producēt mūziku neatkarīgi no ierakstu kompānijas. 2019. gada beigās abi mūziķi izdeva jaunu dziesmu In the Afternoon kā savu pirmo pilnībā pašu producēto singlu.[5] 2024. gadā grupa izdeva savu piekto studijas albumu Loss of Life.

MGMT muzikālais stils raksturots kā dažādu popmūzikas un rokmūzikas žanru apvienojums, tostarp indīpopa,[6] sintpopa,[7] psihedēliskā popa,[2] indīroka,[8] psihedēliskā roka[9] un elektroniskā roka.[10]
