Lineāls ir taisna, šaura plāksne, parasti ar iezīmētu garuma mērvienību skalu, taisnu līniju novilkšanai, kā arī garuma mērīšanai. Tas ir kancelejas piederums, plaši tiek izmantots ģeometrijā un rasēšanā. Lineāli ir gatavoti no dažādiem materiāliem, no plastmasas, koka, metāla vai citiem materiāliem.
