Guza

Guza (latīņu: ingluvies) ir barības vada paplašināta daļa putniem un dažiem bezmugurkaulniekiem (gliemjiem, tārpiem, kukaiņiem), kas kalpo par barības krātuvi un dažreiz barības iepriekšējai pārstrādāšana.[1] Piemēram, medusbitēm guzā notiek nektāra pārstrāde medū.[2]

Putniem guza atrodas virs atslēgas kaula un parasti satur lielus dziedzerus. Ar peristaltikas kustībām guza nodrošina barības nogādi kuņģī, barības atraugu pie putnēnu barošanas un nepārstrādātu barības atlieku evakuāciju.[1]
