Drente (nīderlandiešu: Drenthe) ir Nīderlandes province valsts ziemeļaustrumos. Austrumos tā robežojas ar Lejassaksiju (Vāciju), ziemeļos ar Groningenu, rietumos ar Frīzlandi, bet dienvidos ar Overeiselu. Provinces administratīvais centrs ir Asena.[1]
Vairāk nekā 50 megalītiski kapu pieminekļi (dolmeni) liecina, ka šī teritorija ir bijusi apdzīvota jau aizvēsturē. No 1046. līdz 1522. gadam teritorija bija daļa no Utrehtas bīskapijas. 1536. gadā zeme tika nodota Svētās Romas imperatoram Kārlim V Hābsburgam. Drente kā province pirmo reizi tika izveidota tikai 1796. gadā.
